The form SEND button

When clients are connected to QSSWebServer running on your own site, the SEND button causes the formatting of the entered data into an Annex 10 AFTN message complete with CID and Sequence number and forwards to your own AFTN message switch centre in exactly the same fashion as messages from dedicated AFTN Workstations.

Before forwarding, the data is validated according to the rules contained in the form and if errors are found, the form is returned to the client with advice of the detected error. 

Forms that generate AIS Database queries cause the client response to wait until the AIS database has returned the requested information. This is then converted from Annex 10 format to HTML and returned to the client.
